The safeguarding policy provides a secure framework for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and includes procedures for child protection, e-safety, medical treatment, healthy eating and other aspects of student welfare. We will provide a safe and welcoming environment where students feel secure, are listened to and are safe, as well as feeling respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

BK School recognizes that safeguarding incidents can happen in any school and all staff must be alert to possible concerns being raised in our academies.
BK School recognizes and emphasizes the need for good levels of communication between all members of the school community – staff, students, parents and external agencies – in order to place student welfare at the core of our practice.
