Admission Procedure

  1. A child must be 5 years old on 1st of April in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission in class I. For subsequent classes, the eligible age would be reckoned again with reference to 1st of April with a proportionate increase over 5 years.
  2. An upper age limit for admission is fixed as the minimum age limit plus two years. No child would be eligible for admission in a class if the age is more than this maximum age prescribed. There would be a relaxation of two year in age for handicapped children.
  3. For Class Nursery – No admission test would be conducted for admission to class Nursery.
  4. Class I to Class IX and Class XI- for admission to these classes an admission test would be conducted and a merit list prepared for each category of priority separately. Admission would be given in order of merit.
  5. Candidates securing less than 35% marks in each subject and less than 40% marks in aggregate would not be eligible for admission.
    1. Admission test would be of the level of the annual examination of the class preceding the one to which admission is being sought.
    2. An admission test would be conducted in the following subjects :-
    • Primary classes (except class I) – English, Hindi & Maths.
    • Middle classes – Hindi, English, Maths & General Knowledge.
    • Secondary classes – Hindi, English, Maths, Social Studies and Science.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

  1. The schedule of registration, selection and declaration of the names of the children being granted admission would be notified in advance by the Principal of B.K. Sr. Sec. Public School, Bawani Khera.
  2. Prospectus along with Registration formand Admission Form would be made available by the School Office on payment of Rs. 400/- or may be downloaded from school website.
  3. Registration form, complete in all respects and accompanied by all required documents must be submitted to the School Office within the prescribed date.
  4. Attested copies of the following documents would be required to be submitted along with the application form for registration –
    1. For class I, certificate of proof of age in the form of a birth certificate issued by the authority competent to register births. This will include notified area committees like Municipal Corporation, extract about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital, or service records of defence personnel.
    2. For later classes, the date of birth recorded in the transfer certificate issued by a school recognized by the State Education Department would be accepted.

V. The last date for admission and the competent authority to allow it will be as follows :

(a) Upto 31st July – Principal
